Battery Powered Irrigation Controllers (9V)

For complex systems where mains powered irrigation controllers (24v) cannot be installed, there is another option. Use a 9-volt battery-powered irrigation controller with 9v latching solenoid valves. Ideal for installation in a valve box, they're built to perform as reliably as a mains powered controller, even in wet, muddy and dirty conditions.

When it's too costly or inconvenient to run electrical wire to irrigation valves, use 9v battery-powered irrigation controllers instead. They typically operate for one full year using one 9-volt alkaline battery, or two years with two 9-volt alkaline batteries.
